006 A castellated edifice in the architectural style of the 16 Century, it is a cruciform building of 3 storeys high & seems mixed up with more modern additions at the north side, a low strong door in the rear is quite entire & above it is the family coat of arms with the date 1565 probably the period of its structure. I can glean no local information relative to this castle, it is the property of Col [Colonel] Gordon of Clunie, Invernesshire
