A considerably large house and offices in good repair, with ornamental grounds and Vegetable Garden attached, tastefully laid out and neatly Kept. It is at present occupied as a private Asylum, Kept by the proprietress Miss Reid and her father George Reid Esqr. The number of patients fluctuates between 30 and 78 Seldom or never below the former and not higher than the latter. They are generally belonging to the middle and lower classes of Society their board varies from £30 to £50 according to the circumstances of the patients.
