A Considerably long street extending East and West from one end of Fisherrow to the other, the houses are very irregular, no taste or System having been observed either in the roofing or ground work of them, they are apparently old and at present in but middling repair except a few modern ones, which have been erected very well, they vary in height from two to three Stories, The inhabitants are of the middle and lower Classes Consisting of Shop and Innkeeps Artisans, Fishers and Agricultural labourers,
