[Situation] Over the River Esk at the end of Market St. A narrow bridge, of three arches spanning the River Esk, at the SE [South East] end of Market Street. The date of its erection is unknown, but it is evidently very ancient and is generally believed to have been built by the Romans, when they occupied the station at Inveresk. |
