[Situation] Leading Easterly from New Bridge. The principal Street in the town of Musselburgh. It extends, in an Easterly direction from the New Bridge to the East Port, and consists of irregularly built houses, varying from one to three stories in height. It contains, the Town Hall, the Tolbooth and other buildings of note. On the north side is the Musselburgh Arms Inn, a Commodious and old established house. It is well paved and lighted with gas. |
