005 ; 006 This is a high Hill rising graually from the 'Water of Leith', the summit of which being covered with Gorse, only bears this name.
There is no indication of a Roman Station or the remains of one, being on this Hill, nor do any of the Inhabitants know of such; but South of the Hill, there is the remains of a Roman Camp, which does not come on this Trace
