A small burn which rises near Morningside & runs pass Cameron Bank and is usually at this place Called Cameron Burn & after passing this place again it is called Clear Burn, but tho [though] general & best Known is Pow Burn. Sir W. D. Cunningham of Prestonfield recommends it to be called Pow Burn untill it joins another burn called Braid Burn near Duddingston Loch
