It was [---] miles in length and at 3 1/2 miles from St Leonards Depot a branch was constructed to Musselburgh and another to Leith. Subsequently the North British line was constructed and joined with this line and [opened] in 1846 The line with its branch was purchaced by the North [---] Company.
