[Situation] South side of East Preston Street & west side of Dalkeith Road. An enclosed portion of land containing about three acres Situated at the South side of East Preston Street at its junction with DalKeith Road. It is the property of the Session of the West Church established in 1820. It contains a great number of vaults, also plots purchased by respectable parties the Prices given for graves are according to the respectability of the Parties and Hearses are sent to such as require them There is also a Small house in which the Superintendant Keeps his office one portion of which is occupied by the men during the day employed at grave digging and Keeping the ground a walKs in order |
