A large hill or mountain the surface of which consists of rocks, rocKy precipices and good pasture land on its summit is a Trigl [Trigonometrical] Station called by Trigl [Trigonometrical] Party "Arthurs Seat" Many portions of this hill are known by seperate and independent names such as Foxes Holes the Lions Haunch &c, of which see articles in the adjoining pages.
