[Situation] On East side of South Clerk St. A neat edifice, in the Gothic style, well fitted up with galleries &c, and capable of accommodating a congregation of about 1020. All the sittings are nominally free, but a voluntary Subscription is expected from all the members of the church, there are however, about 60 seats, altogether free. There is a School attached also a numerously attended Sunday School. Present Incumbent. Revd Dr [Reverend Doctor] Begg. |
