Title deeds of the property [?] recognised as the site [of the] Convent of Sancta Mary [?] Placentia and also it has [been] proved before the Court of [?] about the year 1818 in a law [?] which instituted at the instance of [?] incorporation of bakers of the burgh of Canongate against [?] proprietors father in which the bakers of Canongate endeavoured to [?] that the property was part of the burgh of Canongate but failed [?] having been made it was plainly proved that the above mentioned [?] Stood upon the Site of the ancient Convent which was supprised at the [?] of the Reformation [Continued on the next page] |
