A large plain structure with semicircular Gothic windows Belonging to the United Presbyterians. The interior is well fitted up with gallery &c. Seated for 1100 persons The congregation attending this church is about 950. The minister is the Revd [Reverend] Mr. Duncan whose stipend is £250 raised by seat rents. There is no manse. There are no free sittings exclusively for the poor but none are excluded who cannot pay.
