This name applies to two flour mills with granaries &c. attached & several small cottages occupied by WorK people besides a good & small constructed house or cottage occupied by the proprietor John Sawers. The mills are worKed by two water wheels which are turned by water from the water of Leith. At the place is a bridge of 2 arches over the water of Leith which is usually Called Bell's Mills Bridge.
