A scientifically sculptured mass of fine hard freestone, of a icosaedron shape having 20 equilateral triangular faces, on the most of which there have been one or more gnomons, which have been almost all broken or decayed off. There are still perceptible some fine devices, also the initials M. R. C. R. & C. P. W. said to be those of Queen Mary, Charles the first and Charles Prince of Wales The above object stands near the centre of the Palace Garden
