A Considerable Area of ground used as a Cemetery in Connection with Calton Old Burying Ground, through which A road having been opened in 1817, this portion was given in lieu of the ground then appropriated, It has Some handsome headstones & Monuments. but None of Any note. All persons who die in the Royal Infirmary or Calton Jail, and not Claimed by their relatives Area buried here.

A small circular house in Calton New Burying Ground, 3 Stories high And in good repair, it is occupied by the person who has the Superintendence of the Cemetery ground.
