039.07 Site of an old British camp of oval shape 240 feet in length and 200 in breadth. The interior rampart is still indicated by an undulation in the field: all traces of the other parts of the fort have entirely disappeared. It lies about 10 chains SW[South West] of Burnhead farmsteading , a road passing quite close to it.
