007.09 This name formerly applied, only, to the Farm Steading which may be recognised by the Circular Thrashing Machine on Trace 1,VII-13. It now applies, as the Middlequarter of the Village of Shettleston, to all the houses between "Green" & the Parish Church. As the name belongs to the Farm Steading , & the houses now called the Middlequarter of the Village of Shettleston, are built upon the Lands originally belonging to it, the name of the Farm, as stated by the Authorities, properly applies to Middlequarter Farm, as well as the Middlequarter of the Village of Shettleston.
