007.05 A tract of moss land belonging to several proprietors whose boundaries are shewn by drains. The name is well known. There is little probability of this moss being cultivated. There is an occupation road through it which was formerly used for bringing coals from Cardowan & Garthamlock. The tram road, or rails, now end on the north side of the moss.
