038.10 A large farmsteading in good repair - dwellinghouse two storeys slated - offices one, slated & thatched property of Walter Symington Esq
Within the steading there is a small square pillar surmounted by a rude piece of sculpture - a man at the plough, erected for an ornamental purpose. Upon the farmsteading are two standing stones - conspicuous - raised by the present proprietors. They commemorate nothing - also a pillar - non commemorative - used a trig. [trigonometrical] station.
