The whole of the Low Parks from the east of the "Great North Avenue", may be considered a Haugh. The "North Haugh" as written on Examination Traces, applies only to the Haugh between Cadzow Burn & the Motherwell T.P. Road. It is more a name than as applying to the Haugh of the Low Parks. The South Haugh is so called from being a similar Haugh.
