017.13 This is a new Farm Steading which is, at present, bearing two names by the people of the locality. It is build upon the site of a Farm Steading called "Howhole" & from the Lands of "Thorn" & Howe" being combined in one Farm, held by the same tenant, the two names are used, & may in all probability, be coupled in future. The Old Farm Steading of "Thorn" (xvi -14 Trace 4) has still a good dwelling steading [?] & hears the name "Thorn".
