021.02; 021.03; 027.14; 027.15 A very prominent third class hill close to the village of Dunsyre. It rises very abrupt, especially on the South Side, which is exceedingly Steep, and very rocky near the top. It is composed of the Same stone as Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Craigs in Edinburgh
It rises about 500 feet above the water level a[nd] 1235 above high water at Glasgow.
