Stewart Grill (continued) XV111-15 Trace 2.Plan. The name properly belongs to the glen and not to the burn. The origin of "Stewart Gill" is not known. There are some small islands in the clyde where the burn from "Stewart Gill" enters it. They have no name.
Between the points where "Stewart Gill" crosses the turn pike road at "Garion Bridge" there are upon authority of the last four persons quoted, two springs, the one a sulphuros spring - next to the "Gill" and the other a chalyheate, - near to "Garion Bridge". Their properties are well known in the parish. The sulphurous spring is not sean by being inside of a conduit, or drain, under the surface.
