018.10 " A private chapel belonging to the Raploch family, formerly stood at Chapel Knowe, between Raploch and Larkhall ".
The knowe is very slight but may be perceived. The bottom of it is shown by a yellow dotted line. All the authorities quoted know the knoweand its origin. The remains of the foundations, which were below the surface, but which impeded the plough when going over the top of the knowe, were taken away as recently as 12 years since.
Both the knowe and the site are well known
