3. Several granite querns or handmills, These most probably were brought from a distance, granite not being one of the rocks of this district which consist of grewache, green stone,amygdate and porphyry. At Culter Park a little further on, a bronze celt, similar to that in Wilson, P 257, class VII, and also to that, fig [figure] 1 Plate 37, in the journal Vol. [Volume] VIII, was found, and is now in Mr Sim's possession'

The articles named above were found near the Cat Craig, or Rock of the battle, they are still to be seen in Mr Sim's Museum at Coulter Mains, who kindly pointed out the site where they were found, and says that the urns found were of a very fragile texture and fell to pieces when exposed to the air, and that the Urns, dagger, querns, and Celt were all found in the vicinity of the place marked on the trace.
