This road keeps on a line with the Well Path for about 20 chains when it gradually curves to the north east, and is joined by the modern Trust Road near Troloss Cottage. At about 5 chains north from the bridge over the Potrenick Burn, the modern road leaves the track of the old road, and joins it again about 15 chains farther to the north, proceeding northward from this for about 6 chains the modern road again leaves the line of the old road which continues in a straight line, while the modern road curves to the north-east and north until
