With the exception of one or two low thatched tenements the buildings are substantial, slated, and 1 and 2 storeys, it is built on the slope of one of a circle of hills which enclosed it. and forms an arable valley watered by the Duneaton.
The proiprietor is Sir T.E. Colebrooke Bart.
