033.15 The remains of what is generally supposed in the neighbourhood to have been a Druid's temple. It consists of the foundation course of what evidently were two circular stone walls, one within the other. The diameter of the inner one is 190 feet and that of the outer 250. The walls appear to have been about 3 feet thick, and though now level with the surface, except a few places where stones(parts of the wall) are still standing about a foot high, seem to have been of considerable strength. There is no tradition respecting ?

Robert Denholm Esqr. Mr Thomas Braidwood Mr William Paterson 033.15 A round heathy pasture hill sloping off gently towards the east south and west and somewhat steep towards the north. An independent feature-probable height from its base 150 feet. On its summit are the remains of a Druid temple.
