*This name is derived from a Quad Sacra Church , having been erected here in 1690, it was subordinate to the Parish Ch. [Church] at Carnwath. It fell into disuse on the erection of the present Ph. Ch. [Parish Church]and it was entirely removed about 40 years ago.
