Transcriber's notes
The ownership of Upper Langshaw was initially ascribed to the Coltness Iron Co. That has been crossed out and James Brown added in a different hand. There is a crossed out entry for Upper Langshaw Pit with authority for the spelling ascribed to the same three individuals as the other places on this sheet. The description reads
"A limestone pit worked by
steam. property of
Ja[me]s Brown Esq. "
Initially the ownership was the Coltness Iron Co. but altered as above.
