HORLEY BURN
I agree the word looks like "Bura" but there is a stream called Jocks Burn and I suspect that is what was intended.
Added by Douglas Fell
Horley Burn is also known as Hurley burn and Wholey Burn (not P.C. but is one of the spellings as I like to remind my wife who is a Brownlee of Whorley Burn) and located adjacent to Carluke golf course.
It looks like Bura, but it is obviously burn. Jocks burn was originally know as Forrest Burn
