033 The portion of the River Clyde which forms a boundary of Carmichael Ph. [Parish] extends from the junction of a small stream named Millhill Burn to the junction of Douglas Water a distance of about 3 miles. In this part of its course it passes through the five arches of Hyndford Bridge.
