[United Presbyterian] Church & a Congregational Chapel in Bellshill, also two schools _ one a Subscription, & the other an Adventure. There is no Gas Works here, nor are the Streets named. There is an Inn, near the church, bearing the same name as the Village. The Post Office is near the east end of Bellshill. A great part of the Village is U.P. [United Presbyterian] church property or feued from it.
