011.15 A Burn which rises on the Farm of Blantyre Park & forming the Boundary between the Parishes of Blantyre & Hamilton, enters the Clyde near Bothwell Bridge, in Hamilton Parish. In the first part of its course it is called "Red Burn", a name which cannot be applied to it farthar than the Quarry by the side of it, near where a Parish Road crosses the Burn se[e] Trace 1 017.03. It is but little Known as "Red Burn" in this Parish. The name it is best Known by is "Park Burn". (see N. [Name] Sheets of 017.03)
