The Supposed remains of a Roman Camp on the farm of Craigmuie it encloses an area of about 3 or 4 chains Square, and is surrounded on all sides but the West by a fosse and ramparts, on the W. [West] by a small stream called "Abbey Burn". No local tradition can be obtained concerning this, only supposed to be a Roman Camp on account of its Shape.
