He died the 2nd of May 1771 Aged 27 years. Senwick was a Vicarage previous to the Year 1670 about which time it was united with Borgue together with Kirkandrews.

054 A tolerable Sized house (in Ruins) Situated a little East of Senwick Church (in Ruins) and on the Top of the Precipice which overhangs the Sea. Mr John Wilkinson Says that it is Traditionally handed down of it having been the residence of the Rector of Senwick. hence the name.
