This name applies to the Site of a church the Track of which is Scarcely Visiable on the farm of Potterland Mr Livingston has pointed out the spot where it Stood. and Says it is Traditionally handed down of it been Called Kirkmarion (but it is generally pronounced Kermittan) also Mr. McKittrick Black Smith at Screel says that the Late Mr. McClelland Late Minister of Kelton told him that the last Minister who officiated in it was called McClelland.
