045 [Situation] Running in a northern direction through the north end of the Parish of Kelton.
A Stream which rises in the lands of Ingelston & passing near the village of Gelston Row where it works the Mill of Gelston & a little below this it becomes the boundary of the parishes of Kelton & Buittle then it runs through the lands of Halmyre and continues its course to the South S side of Carlingwark Loch & it is called Galston Burn Generally.

They are in tolerable repair and a Receiving Post Office stands at its South end.
