A neat substantial and comfortable Manse two stories high and in good repair with offices. They were built in the year 1813-14 by the Heritors of the parish the old Manse stood near the Churchyard. It is the residence of the Revd. [Reverend] Samuel Cowan the present Minister.

045 [Situation] 5 chains NNW [North North West] of the Parish Church of Kelton.
A massive square and ornamental Tomb situated in the same Plantation with Kelton Church the first person buried in it was Sir William Douglas Bart. [Baronet] It was surrounded with iron pailing the entrance to it fronts the road with the Arms of the Douglas family over the door and two fluted columns one at each side of the doorway.
