The track of a stone wall which seems to have been about 6 feet thick. It is almost circular and is supposed to have been erected in the days of the Commonwealth as a battery or place of defence. This conjecture arose from coins being found in its precints bearing Cromwell's name. It stands upon an elevated spot upon the Craig Hill.
