005 | An ancient circular Cairn or tumulus of about 73 feet in diameter. It is situated on the farm of "Lagwine"a short distance N.E. [North East] from the farm house. Tradition is silent as to the origin of its erection but Similar tumuli in the adjoining parishes having been opened graves were thereby exposed in which human bones were found. The stones of the greater part of this Cairn have been carted away for the purpose of building Stone fences |
