002 A considerable mountain stream having its source on the farm of Glenlee in Ayrshire & Nether Holm in Kirkcudbrightshire flowing in a northwesterly direction through a bleak bare hilly country forming the boundary, from its source to near the 'Moor' farm house between the Shires of Ayr & Kirkcudbright. its course is then more southerly passing the village of Carsphairn and 'Deugh Linn' & falling into the Water of Ken at Glenhoul.
