017.03 A good substantial building on the north side of Evan Street. This Chapel was built by John Beattie Esqr for the accommodation of the people of Fetteresso Ph. [Parish] who reside in Stonehaven. Mr Beattie receives a percentage on the outlay which ceases at his death and the Chapel will be wholly under the Kirk Session and parish Minister. Properly speaking this is a Chapel of Ease attached to Fetteresso Parish Church. It contains seats for 700.
