026.08 A small stream rising on the Farm of Balmaleedy and flowing along the South side of Kirktonhill Park until it enters the village of Marykirk, through which it flows for a Short distance, when it enters the Mill Lade mentioned in the extracts for Spearmill. This Burn in the old writings is called the Burn of Aberluthnet, and is termed now by Some as Burn of Marykirk, but it is Best known by the name given. Burn of Balmaleedy
