016.08 | A considerable stream rising on the hills in Glenbervie Parish and joining the Carron Water about 1/2 a mile S.E. [South East] of the farm house of Elfhill. From the junction of this stream with the Burn of Annamuck to the Carron Water, it is by some called the Cow Burn, and by others the Burn of Annamuck, but it is best known as Burn of Elfhill. For a considerable distance this stream forms the Boundary between the Parishes of Glenbervie and Fetteresso. |
