017.03 A small village on the Carron Water, about two miles West from Stonehaven. This is the principal Village in the Parish, and the remains of the Old Parish Church are in a good state of preservation. The ancient burying ground is still used for parishoners, but the present Parish Church is a modern erection near the Town of Stonehaven.
