019.11 | A few years ago when the Road Men were employed cutting away a small hillock at this place they found a Stone Cist, containing Unctuous earth and bones. The Cist was about 3 feet long, and part of it may be seen built into the Wall on side of Road. |

019.11 | About 15 years ago there was found at this place an Urn, and in it a Small pile of Calcined bones. The urn was partly broken by the plough when found. It was taken by Sir J. S. Forbes to the Museum at Montrose. |
