024.12 Mr Beattie states that when the ground was cultivated at this place ther was found a Circle of Stones of about 20 yards in diameter, and in the centre was found a Stone Coffin but no human remains. This place is on the farm of Brawleymuir. B.R. 29/9/63

Mr William Willocks states that when he cultivated the ground at this place about 3 years ago, there was found a Stone Coffin, partly broken, and at the bottom there was black unctuous earth, but no human remains. Part of the Stones which formed the coffin may be seen at the farm house of North Muirton. This place is on the farm of North Muirton. B.R. 29/9/63
