021.13 A small piece of Arable ground on the boundary of the Estates of Allardice and Arbuthnott. It is said that the name originated in a dispute, as to the proper ownership, each party claiming it. The proprietor of Allardice stated it was part of his property, and the proprietor of Arbuthnott claimed it as his. It is now recognized as part of the Arbuthnott Estate and attached to the farm of Kirkton.
